Barangay profile
Santa Barbara is a barangay under the municipality of Baliuag, province of Bulacan. It has about 12, 600 residents that represents the 7.50 percent of the whole population of Baliuag according to 2020 Census.

Collection process
In terms of collecting data, I used a survey interview method wherein the first question is a survey with multiple choices and the following questions are in the form of an interview. The respondents answer the survey interview through google forms that I created because of its convenience.
Analysis and Interpretation
After I collected the needed data, analyzing and interpreting it is the next thing to do in order for me to review and understand the information and later create a significant conclusion about it.

The problem in Waste Management is the most picked by the respondents with a total of seven votes. Issues about lack of governance of Barangay officials and parking lot got two votes while both problems in peace and order and illegal activities received one vote. Only Insufficient facilities and infrastructure have no votes.
Root cause of the issues
In question no.3, I ask the respondents where these problems that they choose come from. And almost all of them said that it begins with the lack of action and implementation of rules by barangay officials. Also, other respondents think that the citizens themselves are responsible for why these problems started.
The possible remedy
I also ask my respondents to give possible solutions that they think can solve the community issues that they picked. The majority of answers pertains to the huge role of barangay officials like:
In waste management, the barangay can create a fixed schedule in collection of garbage and cleaning of drainage systems in order to avoid flood and spreading of diseases,
In terms of problems in parking lots, having a seminar explaining to the citizens the steps needed to accomplish before buying a car can cause an impact,
For the lack of governance of the Barangay, they need to become responsible and have an equal service to all people in the community regardless of any identity factors (affiliation, race, sexual orientation, social status), and
With regards to peace and order and illegal activities, the officials need to be strict in implementation of rules and regulations inside the community.
The bottom line
Based on the result of the survey interview that was conducted, I can say that the problem in Waste Management, particularly in garbage collection, is the problem facing by most people in our barangay. And the collaboration between barangay officials and citizens in creating programs like proper waste management and clean-up-drive has a huge impact to address this problem.
