Brief summary:
Teenage pregnancy is a problem occurring in every country. It was also known as adolescent pregnancy and it was experienced by a female at the age of 19 and below. It is still increasing at Barangay Malis, Guiguinto, Bulacan, afraid of becoming a norm, I decided to dig deeper into the real situation of teens experiencing this problem.
Rationale:
· Some teens don’t have enough knowledge regarding family planning
· Teenagers might end up doing crime because of poverty
· The baby may be delivered prematurely
· Higher rate of postnatal depression
· Cause of death for teenagers who experienced pregnancy
Explanation:
Based on the survey form that I did before, the main concern of SK members that I interviewed is teenage pregnancy. They want to build or form a program that will help these teens know more about safe sex and what are the possible consequences they may face if ever they did it clumsily.
Who are the interviewees?
1. I will ask first the officials of the barangay especially the mother leaders who were tasked to do the Census around Malis. I will ask them what is the current statistics on teenage pregnancy and what part of Malis had the most problems like this. It will help me collect more data and will make it easy for me to gather information about them.
2. The next that I will interview would be those people who experienced pregnancy during their teens. I will ask them what struggles they faced before, during, and after giving birth. I will also ask them if it’s okay to share their story to inform the other teens about what would be the consequences they may encounter if they become teen parents.
3. Lastly, I will interview the relatives of the said teenagers especially their parents or their guardians. What are their feelings at first and what were also the struggles that they faced?
Objective:
The main objective of this report is to spread awareness and to teach what is right from what is wrong. This will also call the attention of higher-ups to create programs about family planning, sex education, and right business planning to avoid crimes. By doing this, it will help not only me but the people who are able to read or hear this report.
