EXPLANATION

In order to pursue this story, I will interview a person whom I personally know. This person has a history of illegal drugs involvement. The interview will be face-to-face as I will invite the interviewee to our home to conduct the questioning. To ensure the anonymity of the interviewee, I will blur his face on the video and will intentionally change his voice during the post-editing process. With an interview with a person who has a first-hand experience with illegal drugs, imprisonment due to involvement with it, and some therapy, I will get to know the story behind every person's reason for indulging in it.

For more depth, while including the voices of the citizens of Barangay Muzon, an online survey among the citizens will also be conducted. The survey form will be made through Google Forms. Also, to ensure their anonymity, the survey form will not require their personal information. The questions include:

  • How likely will you probably indulge in illegal drugs? (Scalable from 1 as the lowest while 5 as the highest)

  • Assuming you are involved in illegal drugs, who do you think is responsible for influencing you? Your friends, family, fellow worker, or your personal choice?

  • Who should you blame for the spread of illegal drugs?

In addition, I will also interview two public officials in Barangay Muzon to consult for reliable data regarding the state of the community in illegal drugs. In this part, their actions and programs to prevent people from using illegal drugs will be disclosed in the report. The day of the interview will be backed by a letter asking for their permission given beforehand.
